London: The race to become Britain’s next Prime Minister has entered a productive phase.
Rishi Sonik secured the support of the required members to become the Prime Minister’s candidate.
103 Conservative MPs have announced their support for Rishi Sonak, while former Prime Minister Boris Johnson is still determined to be in the running and has returned to the UK from a holiday abroad.
Apart from this, Penny Mordent’s star failed to shine this time as well and she could only get the support of a few members.
The process of electing a new leader of the Conservative Party will be completed on October 28.
