According to the Russian news agency, during this time Russian President Vladimir Putin said that there is a need to work in the railway and energy sectors in Pakistan and Russia, it is possible to supply gas from Russia to Pakistan through a pipeline. And possible with Uzbekistan’s already built infrastructure, the construction of infrastructure for LNG delivery in Pakistan is also worth noting.
Vladimir Putin said that he sees Pakistan as an important partner in South Asia, relations between Russia and Pakistan are growing in a positive manner, cooperation in economic and trade fields is important in Russia-Pakistan relations.
The Russian president said that he is extremely sorry for the loss of life caused by the disastrous flood in Pakistan, he has sent aid to the flood victims, and is ready to provide more help.
He further said that we also need to solve the problem of Afghanistan, there is political instability in Afghanistan which is expected to be solved, we have good relations with the people of Afghanistan, Pakistan has influence on the situation in Afghanistan. Potentially, we will continue to work together positively in many areas.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reached Samarkand today to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting.
