According to the Bureau of Statistics, the price of onion increased by 24.92% and tomatoes by 11.93% in one week, lentil mung increased by 5.72%, dal mash by 5.28%, potato by 5.03%, and lentils by 4.43%.
According to the Statistics Institute, the price of diesel has increased by 3.78% and LPG by 1.49%. In recent weeks, pulses, gram, eggs, garlic, and jaggery have also become expensive.
In a week, chicken became cheaper by 5.08 per kg and ghee by 0.15 percent.
