Floods have caused widespread destruction in Iran’s southern province of Fars, killing at least 18 people and leaving hundreds homeless.
According to Iran’s official media, the flood relay caused by the torrential rains caused large-scale destruction in the city of Isthaban in Fars.
According to Governor Faris Yusuf Karigar, the volunteers moved 55 people trapped in the flood situation to safe places, while 6 people are still missing and the search is on.
Iran’s meteorological department has predicted heavy rains across the country.
It should be remembered that in March 2018, 44 people were killed due to torrential rains and floods in Iran’s Fars province.
