An update on the messaging application WhatsApp is coming soon which will definitely be of great interest to the users.
According to a report by WhatsApp Beta Info, an application that monitors WhatsApp activities, the app will now be allowed to have ‘Voice Notes’ status.
Earlier, users used to post videos and photos on statuses, but now WhatsApp is about to introduce a feature that will make it possible to post voice notices on statuses as well.
According to the report, the voice note shared as a status update can be called ‘voice status’.
WhatsApp Beta Info has also shared a screenshot of this feature which clarifies the functionality of voice note support on status
As you can see in the picture, the new icon at the bottom of the status tab will allow you to send instant voice notes on status updates.
However, there will also be privacy on the status of the voice note, meaning that only people you want to hear will be able to hear it.
WhatsApp has not yet announced when users will be able to use the feature regularly, but work on the feature has begun.
