LAHORE: Three children were killed and three others injured when the wall of a swimming pool collapsed in the Khokhargaon area of Badami Bagh.
According to police, the children had come to bathe in the swimming pool when one of the four walls of the pool collapsed, injuring six children who were rushed to Khawaja Saeed Hospital for immediate medical treatment. The children died.
The dead included 12-year-old Thaqleen, 14-year-old Dilawar, and 14-year-old Azhar Liaqat, while the injured included Sagar, Hamza, and Basit.
According to police, the 14-year-old Azhar Tibba, who died in the accident, was a resident of Kalan Kasur and had come here for holidays.
