Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minallah said that Sheikh Rashid was repeatedly making statements regarding the bloody march, without his presence his petition could not be heard.
Sheikh Rashid’s plea to avoid arrest was heard in the Islamabad High Court but the Awami Muslim League chief did not appear before the court.
Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that the court could not hear the case without the presence of Sheikh Rashid as Sheikh Rashid was repeatedly making provocative statements.
Justice Atharmanullah further said that statements of Sheikh Rashid were coming again and again that there would be a bloody march, the court would first be satisfied in the presence of Sheikh Rashid and then issue an order.
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned the hearing of the case due to the absence of Sheikh Rashid.
